The fan sign started at 7, and I got there around 6:30/6:40. They were already lining up fans when I got there. I was number 31, so I was in the 2nd row. That gave me a good chance to take pictures~ (which all came out blurry..fail). Then it was time for our row to line up by the table. The security guy told me and I was like “me?” I really couldn’t believe it was all happening.
My game plan was to just ask all of them if they remember me. And I also had a sticky note question that asked what their first impression of me was. I had them sign the cards that come in the album, not in the book also.
First was Yijeong. I walked up and kneeled on the ground and set my CD/cards on the table. I was about to ask if he remembered me when he got all wide-eyed and said something along the lines of “You’re the girl I took the picture with!” in Korean (which I still don’t know how my brain caught all that..I was so overwhelmed.) I said “You remember me!” and smiled really big. Then he kept talking in a /lot/ of Korean and lost me…I told him (in Korean) I was sorry, I only know a bit of Korean and he seemed kinda sad. I think he really wanted to talk to me. ㅠㅠ I pointed out the sticky note question for him to answer. He said “Oh~ beautiful!” and wrote it on the sticky note. It was sooo cute. Then the fan staff told me to move.
(Yijeong’s English handwriting is seriously so gorgeous!! Look at it!! MY NAME LOOKS SO PRETTY! and the exclamation points are written in the direction of the stripes on the paper..this kid <3)
Next was Kyungil~ As he said “hi~!” (in English) I said “안녕하세요!” to which he was really shocked. It was funny. I decided to keep using English. I was gonna give him his card to sign, but my brain couldn’t process. His card was on top of the stack.
Kyungil: “That one” (or something that means pretty much that. omfg I don’t remember ><)
Me: “Oh!” *hands him the card and laughs because I was embarrassed*
Me: “Do you remember me?”
“Yes!”
“What’s your name?”
“Kayla~”
“Kayla..” *writes my name*
“Your English is good!”
*reverts to Korean so fast* “My English is really not good.”
*laughs awkwardly as he finishes signing*
I thanked him and the fan staff hurried me along. (He didn’t answer the sticky note question)
Dokyun’s turn~~ I slid over and hand him his card (after some fumbling). I asked him if he remembered me in English but he looked confused. I asked again in Korean and he said he did! <3 He signed the card and then saw the sticky note. He smiled and said “beautiful!” But when he went to write it, he hesitated. Then he wrote it in Konglish. It was really cute, my little goldfish~ <3 Then I moved on to Sihyoung~~
So I got to Sihyoung and gave him the card to sign. We had the longest convo~ (in English! :O)
Him: “Where are you from?”
Me: “America!”
“I love America!”
“It’s great, right?!”
“Ah, what’s your name?”
“Oh, here” *gives him post-it with my name on it*
“Kailuh?”
*giggles* “Kayla~”
“Oh, Kayla~”
“Oh! This is for you!” *gives him gift*
“Wow, I love you~”
*internally dies* “Happy Birthday~!”
“Thank you!” *moves on to sticky note question* “Gorgeous!”
(He somehow told me to spell it? I think it was English (feelings hurt my memory))
So I spelled it for him, and he repeated the letters out loud as he wrote. Toward the end, they were more like questions, like e? o? u?? s??? hahhaha It was really cute~
Then something else happened…I can’t remember ㅠㅠ AND THEN HE SAID “I LOVE YOU SO MUCH” (feelings overload is why I forget this part ㅠㅠ) Then the staff nudged me and told me to move. I said “You got me in trouble!” and he cracked up. (/sobs for eternity)
Last was Jaeho~
He asked me what way he should sign the card, so I motioned portrait. We were actually really awkward..maybe it was just me. Hahahha. I asked if he remembered me, and he said “Yes! Yellow hair~” Then he put that as his first impression. But instead of writing on the sticky note, he wrote it on the card itself. We smiled at each other, but then I had to go because of the fan staff. So my time with Jaeho was really short.
Then I stood and took pics for /2 HOURS/. I took 8.39GB of pics, which totaled 1,144 pics. >< (a lot of which were blurry or staff was in the way or just doubles/triples)
I got fan service pics of Jaeho after I called out to him~ When I screened my photos to pick out the best to upload, I noticed Sihyoung was looking at me a couple times!! AHHHHHHH
Other things that happened:
- Jaeho and Sihyoung kept singing along to the songs as they played
-Jaeho kept sliding around in his chair and the staff kept making him sit right and pushing in his chair. He was like a little kid ><;
-It was really hot in there and the staff was fanning History from behind
-Kyungil would /not/ stop turning to talk to Yijeong…like every time he had a chance, he would turn to talk to him. (It made it really hard to get pics too)
-Yijeong was smiling pretty much the entire time. You could tell he was truly happy thanks to the fans
-When the did the closing message, Jaeho sang “사랑해” three times..his voice is really no joke…it’s so nice.
ㅠㅠ History is really the best..I love them so much it hurts.

After Inkigayo’s live show (4:30pm) we met outside and lined back up in the order of our numbers from Inkigayo and walked over to a park nearby. When we arrived, we sat in the order of our numbers as well. Since I was #30, I was at the beginning of the 3rd line.
So we sat and waited for about 5 minutes for History members to come. In that time, the fan staff (I need to note that this is the nicest fan staff ever. Seriously.) told us the rules, and also told us that later, there will be a drawing in which each member would draw a number and if your Inkigayo number was the same, you got to take a selca with that member.
Finally, History came down the stairs, all smiles and perfection. Kyungil was carrying a typo slogan (it said Histor hahah). The waved and smiled at the fans a lot. When they were in front of us, we sang “데뷔 축하합니다” (congrats on your debut) to the tune of Happy Birthday. It was super cute. There was a cake and the staff lit candles, but it was too windy so they all blew out while we sang. But when we finished, the members acted like they blew out the candles anyway.
Then they started the Q&A. These were all questions fans wrote while waiting in line for Inkigayo. I don’t remember the exact order of the questions, but I’ll just write everything I remember. Also, remember that this was in Korean unless otherwise noted. (and my Korean isn’t that good so I have to leave out what I didn’t understand. ㅠㅠ Sorry.)
Q: Which member does the sexiest dancing? (or something like that)
A: I don’t remember what they said, but YiJeong started doing body waves and it was pretty sexy.
Q: (Eng) (Kyungil drew this question, but it was in English so he passed it to SiHyeong) Would you date a foreigner? (this was my friend’s question)
A: Of course! (excitedly and kind of suggestive hahaha)
Q: (Eng) What is your favorite color?
A: (Sihyeong) Red..Yellow..and Black (I am pretty sure><) A fan yelled “Kimchi Jjigae!” and everyone had a good laugh. A member (I think Kyungil?) called her pretty. It was really cute~
Q: Do Kiyomi!
A: Either they all did, or just 3 (I only remember 3 hahaha ooops). Kyungil didn’t really want to, but he shook his hips to the beat and held up the correct fingers. On 5, he put his hands on his butt and slid them down. His was /hilarious/. Yijeong’s was over the top cuteness (just how you would imagine it..he’s the aegyo person in the group) and Jaeho’s was awkward cute. (I wanted to hug him ><)
Q: What do you think about debuting? (this was my friend’s question too)
A: Since they spoke a lot completely in Korean, I pretty much missed the answer other than that they were thankful. Their voices seemed really calm and happy, so you could tell they had good and grateful feelings. They were really happy to be with the fans too..you could tell they really appreciated the support.
Someone also asked Kyungil to do some elegant dance or something? And he did this like..elegant ballet move twice.
That’s all I can really remember from the Q&A. Next was the Selca Drawing.
At some point I didn’t notice, the members drew their numbers for the selca. So right when they finished the last question, they transitioned right into the selca part. They went in the order they were standing from right to left (Sihyeong, Jaeho, Kyungil, Yijeong, Dokyun). Sihyeong got 50-something. Jaeho got 50-something. Kyungil got 60-something. At this point, I was still a bit nervous, but I kind of gave up hope. (remember this was all in Korean, so it took a little extra processing) So Yijeong said his number - 30번. The 번 entirely threw me off. (In Korean, they use counters for numbers. In this case, they basically said ”number 30” instead of just ”30”.) I thought “Oh so close!” And just as I started to realize, my friend turned to me and said “THAT’S YOU!” I stood up so fast and hurried over (at this point, a bit of time had passed and I didn’t want to hold everything up being /that/ foreigner hahahaha). The members’ faces when I stood up and came over though. They were like :O!!!!!!!!!!!! Hahahah it was really cute and funny~ My favorite part~
So I got to Yijeong and he reached out for my phone, but it was still locked, so I said “잠깐만요” and he was a little surprised. Then I think he asked if I knew Korean..so I said a little (all in Korean). Then we took the selca, I thanked him, and sat back down.
Then Dokyun drew a really high number too, so they drew a few extra numbers.
Then it was time for the all-together photo. The staff dispersed the members throughout the fans and they took pics (see the 1st 2 pics). I was closest to Jaeho. He gave me a high five! <3
Then the staff showed us the special History headphone jack plugs!
While they were talking, Jaeho was talking to the 2 girls in front of me. He took a step back toward me, so I raised my hand to him and waved. The girls in front of me reached up for high fives and he hi-fived them, so I stretched my arm forward, but he didn’t notice. A staff tried to point me out to him, but he didn’t notice her either. ><
Then the members passed out the headphone jack plugs to all of the fans. I got mine from Jaeho. hahahaha. Then when that was finished, the members gathered in the front and said their good-byes, it-was-funs, and thank-yous. Then we had to stay where we were and wait for them to go up the stairs. We all waved at them. I did an over-the-head heart and shot it to them (like a bow and arrow). I think Kyungil noticed, because right after, he did an over-the-head heart too.^^
And it ended like that.
